I am a big fan of the mini Mr Bullet Feeder, I have both rifle and pistol holders and have used both extensively. A comment about the .223 bullet holder if you are planning to use bigger bullet weights (above 55g) depending on the manufacturer of the bullets some of them may get stuck in the tube...

The only change I would make is to add a neck expander. But a Lyman M-die cured that issue, now even non bt bullets feed without fail.

Although I have very little experience with the Mr. BullerFeeder, I currently have it mounted on my Lee Auto Breech Lock Pro and have used it with 2 different bullet profiles in .308 and seems to have no issues with either. It is one of the most user friendly dies to make changes and set to what...

This is the only way to go when it comes to bullet feeders. I tried the Hornady dies first and they are more work than not having one. These are just put it in and go. Great product.

this purchase was my first disappointment with DAA because two of the six tubes have their diameter so small that 55 grain bullets get stuck in them and it is quite challenging to get them out

Mini Mr.BulletFeeder by DAA - Rifle

(38)
Manufacturers: Double-Alpha Academy

Description:

Please be aware of the following:

The Dillon XL750 Powder Measure is angled such that the powder bar must extend directly over station #4 in the toolhead, and it cannot be repositioned. This Is not an issue if you have a short die in that station. However, if you wish to run a powder check in station #3, and a bullet dropper in station #4, as many do, this creates a serious problem.

As a solution to this  issue we are pleased to offer our Extra-Short Dillon Powder Bar.

As of Feb 2021 we are transitioning to using longer Rifle insert tubes in order to hold even more bullets in the tube magazine. We are extending the tubes by approx.. 6 inches.
For Dillon 1050 users the tubes will need to be shortened by the user! As they will not fit in beneath the case feeder.

The Rifle Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA uses a 6-tube magazine system which holds roughly 70-100 bullets, depending on bullet caliber and length. It feeds into the same brilliantly reliable dropper die assembly as used on the Mr.Bulletfeeder

Using a Bulletfeeder while reloading is a real pleasure. It makes the reloading process faster and much easier. If you have never used one, you are missing out on one of the greatest reloading assists out there! A Bulletfeeder also improves safety, by preventing the need to insert your fingers under the tool head to place your bullets on the brass. Everyone should use one!

Each magazine of bullet tubes needs to be filled by hand before reloading, much in the same way you would fill your primer tubes before starting your reloading session. With a little practice, it will take you about 2 minutes to fill the tube assembly. And this can be done in advance while watching TV in the comfort of your living room. Additional tube assemblies can be purchases separately (or as a bundle), thus allowing you to pre-load 300, 400 or more bullets before starting your reloading session.

While reloading, you will see the bullets drop down in the transparent tube, as they feed into the dropper-die assembly. Once a tube is empty, you simply rotate and click the next tube into place and keep reloading. Transition to the next tube takes just a second or two. Once the entire 6-tube magazine is empty, either reload it by hand, or drop your 2nd assembly into place to continue without delay.

The Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder can be used on any progressive reloading machine which uses the same size dies as Dillon. Be aware that the bullet feeder does require a station in your tool head, directly after the powder dropper.

We have found it is difficult to use the Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder on a 1050 when a powder check is being used in the following station. This has to do with the angle in which the powder dropper sits, forcing the bullet dropper to rotate further away, over the next station. This is an issue only on a 1050.

Your Rifle Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA includes:

1 x 6-Tube Bullet Magazine Assembly

1 x Dropper Die Assembly

3 x Spare Steel Ball-Bearings for Dropper

1 x User Instruction Sheet

No expanding powder funnel is included with this system, because throating the rifle brass in the powder funnel is not possible. That would lead to too small a powder through hole. Flaring the brass must be done as a prep stage or using a modified M-die on the 1050.

A comment about the .223 bullet holder if you are planning to use bigger bullet weights (above 55g) depending on the manufacturer of the bullets some of them may get stuck in the tube due to the bullets diameter being wider then allowed by the tube. Not sure if widening the tubes a little might help. Otherwise happy with them.

I am retired military and they ain't rolling up to my door step with a wheel barrel full of money every month so I gave this product a serious look. I reviewed whatever I could including YouTube video reviews. My hands are arthritic so loading 223 bullets is an effort. I ordered and installed the product within 20 minutes. I proceeded to load 300 rounds of 223 without any interruptions on Dillon 550. A very good product. Because it worked so well, I ordered the 9mm/38/357 and the 45 ACP version. It does save a lot of time. Just be aware that if you use this on a Dillon 550, you will lose a station. I purchased a combination seating and crimping die to replace the separate seating and separate crimp die. Another note, rifle cases are not expanded on the powder die in a Dillon 550. Not a problem for me as I size and take out the spent primer on my Redding Turret Press. I proceed to clean all of the brass at that time. So on the first station, I use an RCBS expander die to open the neck of the 223 case, then feed the powder on the second station. Third station is where the bullet is set into the case and the fourth station is the seating and crimp operation.

It is one of the most user friendly dies to make changes and set to what you require for smooth feeding into your press. I'm actually thinking about getting one for pistol caliber and converting my Lee Loadmaster instead of the Lee bullet feeder.

On the QC side, there were plastic shavings from when the tubes were cut stuck in the tubes. Nothing a quick blast from the air compressor couldn’t fix, but should have been taken care of during mfg.
