The DAA Mini Mr. Bulletfeeder combined with the DAA Short Powder Bar and the DAA combined Seat and Crimp Die enabled my Dillion XL750 press to stamp out rounds without manual seating and with the piece of mind of having my Dillion powder check installed.  I also added the DAA Mini Case Feeder and...

Mr. Bullet Feeder (mini) where have you been all my life ?? This is with out a doubt the best accessory for a Dillon 550 out there. It replaces the die in station 3, and drops a bullet on every stroke. You can load up the magazine in advance with 100 bullets. I bought it a week ago, I should...

I like the product, it does exactly what it says, with one exception; it does not do a good job of feeding lead coated bullets. Now it may be that the ones I purchased are not very high quality or consistent, but about one round in each feed tube, so 6 times per each magazine, a bullet would get...

Recently received the the Mini Mr. Bullet feeder in 45 auto to run on a lock n load ap. After running well over 500 bullet through it, (Hornady xtp and Berry’s plated) this bullet feeder has performed flawlessly. Note to other Hornady ap users, the DAA ptx does require the powder drop to be...

One of the best additions to my Hornady LnL AP since the case feeder. This takes all of the hand cramping out of reloading. No more dropped bullets, no more squinting. Perfect drops every pull of the handle. I would recommend one for anyone using a progressive reloader that doesn't want to spend...

This ran 230 grain FMJ .45 ACP bullets top notch. It does not seem to like the 180 grain SWC cast very much. I think that is the fault of the bullets themselves as they seem to have a greater variance in diameter than the FMJ.

I was a bit skeptical at first when a friend told me about his. So I went over to his house and tried it on a few 9mm loads. I was convinced after that. I immediately purchased one and have not looked back. It works great for 9mm and is very easy to set up and use.

I was hopeful this would be a cost effective alternative to the noisy electric Mister Bullet Feeder that I have on my 650XL (which works flawlessly I might add) I grabbed these for my Dillon 750XL. Also disappointed there is no solution yet to Powder Cop on new 750XL. Hopeful to have them set up...

I have an old RCBS Pro 2000 with auto indexing and an RCBS Lock Out die. I was using the Hornady bullet feeder for 45 acp 230gr FMJ and it was a nightmare. It would work for several bullet feeds then it would drop 2-3 bullets on the next stroke. It was frustrating as all hell, knocking powder out...

DAA Mini Mr. Bulletfeeder - Pistol

(65)
Manufacturers: Double-Alpha Academy

Description:

Please note:

The current design of the new XL750 does not allow the bullet dropper to be positioned in station #4 of the toolhead because of the angle at which the powder Dispenser bar extends directly towards it. This means the bullet dropper MUST be positioned immediately after the powder dropper, in station #3. That makes it impossible to use a Powder-Check AND a bullet dropper at the same time.

We will attempt to come up with a solution to allow the powder dropper to be rotated to another angle to resolve this issue, but at the moment, be aware of this issue.

Based on the success of the Mr. Bullet Feeder by DAA, DAA has now launched a new more economical version of the original Mr. Bullet Feeder.  The new Mini Mr. Bullet Feeder by DAA uses a 6-tube magazine system which holds roughly 100 bullets. It feeds into the same reliable dropper die assembly as used on the Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA.

Each magazine of bullet tubes needs to be manually filled by hand before reloading begins, similar to the way a primer tube is filled before starting the reloading process. After a little practice, it will take approximately 2 minutes to fill the tube assembly. This can be done in advance of the reloading process to save time.  Additional tube assemblies can be purchases separately (or as a bundle), thus allowing you to pre-load 300, 400 or more bullets before starting a reloading session.

While reloading, the bullets will drop down in the transparent tube, as they feed into the dropper-die assembly. Once a tube is empty, you simply rotate and click the next tube into place and keep reloading. Transition to the next tube takes just a second or two. Once the entire 6-tube magazine is empty, either reload it by hand, or drop your 2nd assembly into place to continue reloading without delay.

The Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA can be used on any progressive reloading machine which uses the same size dies as Dillon, however please note that the powder funnel supplied with the Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA is designed to be used ONLY in the Dillon powder drop! If you wish to use the Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA with another press, you may need to purchase elsewhere another powder funnel to expand the brass.

NOTE: That the bullet feeder does require a station on the tool head, direcly after the powder dropper.

DAA has found it is difficult to use the Mini Mr.Bulletfeeder on a 1050 when a powder check is being used in the following station. This has to be with the angle in which the powder dropper sits, forcing the bullet dropper to rotate further away, over the next station. This is an issue only on a 1050

The Mini Mr. Bulletfeeder includes:

1 x 6-Tube Bullet Magazine Assembly
1 x Dropper Die Assembly
1 x Expanding powder funnel (Dillon compatible)
3 x Spare Steel Ball-Bearings for Dropper
1 x User Instruction Sheet

Please note: Mr.Bullet feeders and Mini Mr.BF are usually shipped with our Dillon Powder funnel. If you wish us to swap that out for a Hornady funnel when shipping – we can do so for you - request that at time of ordering. Or, separately purchase your Hornday expanding powder funnel here

The DAA Mini Mr. Bulletfeeder combined with the DAA Short Powder Bar and the DAA combined Seat and Crimp Die enabled my Dillion XL750 press to stamp out rounds without manual seating and with the piece of mind of having my Dillion powder check installed.  I also added the DAA Mini Case Feeder and I'm beyond pleased.  The Mini Mr. Bulletfeeder took only a little time to setup in tuning the powder funnel to bell the case mouth the appropriate amount, but once that was dialed-in, everything was falling into place! (pun intended).    Keep an eye on both feeders and slow your upstroke when nearing the end of your bullet or case tubes to make sure you can rotate a new tube without fully indexing otherwise you will have to set aside your incomplete cartridges for later handling.    I love DAA's products and inventiveness!  It keeps me checking back for new solutions for common issues.

It replaces the die in station 3, and drops a bullet on every stroke. You can load up the magazine in advance with 100 bullets. I bought it a week ago, I should have bought it ten years ago. Set-up and adjustment was maybe five minutes. I bought two extra magazines, and load them while I'm watching TV. The thru-put is so fast, I'm amazed when it's out of bullets already. It's really a time saver !!

I like the product, it does exactly what it says, with one exception; it does not do a good job of feeding lead coated bullets. Now it may be that the ones I purchased are not very high quality or consistent, but about one round in each feed tube, so 6 times per each magazine, a bullet would get stuck in the die and I would have to pull the magazine off, pull the die and force the bullet back out. I have since tried using plated and it works flawlessly with plated/jacketed bullets.

After running well over 500 bullet through it, (Hornady xtp and Berry’s plated) this bullet feeder has performed flawlessly. Note to other Hornady ap users, the DAA ptx does require the powder drop to be extended slightly. Very simple procedure. Outstanding product, couldn’t be happier.

Hopeful to have them set up ready to go.. WELL the huge downfall is the unpolished powder nose funnel flare gizmo; it causes terrible brass shredding and needs to be polished up. It is the ONLY one Hiccup on my Dillon 750XL causes a case grab for every case and basically causes powder to spill as well. I will will tweak it a bit more. Not sure I am saving any time loading the bullets either,...So Guess what, I went and bought another bullet feeder and put part of this off to the side for now. Maybe when I am loading just a few hundred rounds of other calibers but not efficient for thousands of 9mm .. Not totally unhappy but not as excited as I thought I should be. It is very innovative & EZ on the wallet if that's a concern. This is just not for my volume of loading. & Please polish the powder funnel I should not have had to to that.
