I’ve been using this for about a month now and have loaded about 1700 rounds so far. Worth every penny! It works well with both large and small CCI and Federal primers. Those are the only brands I’ve tried so far. If this one would ever wear out I would not hesitate to buy another one.

Very well made and very good, I replaced a cheaper older gadget from a different company. Old one always struggled with small primers due to size differences, so far this one runs great. A major upgrade for sure. Turns prep time into reloading time.

I am 100% thrilled with this purchase. After reading some reviews I felt this would work far better than the others I've seen on the market and I was right. This product is well worth the price and very easy to use!

Best primer filler I ever used. I've tried all of them. You won't believe it till you try it.

Finally used my Primafill. Works well. I'm not fast with it, but I can load primer tubes without my hands hurting. And that's what I was looking for when I purchased it.

Filling primer tubes really slows down the loading process. After I automated my Dillon 1050 it went from bad to unbearable. I'd tried the VibraPrime, but it only has 1 tube and it's very fickle.
The Primafill really works. It sits flt on the bench to put in the primers (unlike the Vibra, RCBS, Lee type tools). Unlike the RCBS tools, the lid doesn't snap and cause all your primers to tip over again. It will fit the Federal Primer trays. Being able to swap tubes is awesome AND the tubes hold 100 not the 99 you get in a Dillon tube with the tip removed.
I wished the tube was 1/4 longer. The top primer is right at the top. You need somewhere to put the full tubes that keeps them vertical so they don't spill. If they were 1/4 longer a cotter pin in the top would keep them loaded and ready to drop in the press.
Overall really happy with this, filling primers is now as easy as adding powder or bullets. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. The short tubes are the only complaint.

By far, this is one of the best pieces of reloading equipment I"ve bought in quite some time. It works just like the youtube videos. Very easy to use and works everytime.

It works! I’ve tried other primer tube filling products for years. I even have a Dillon RF100. Nothing before has consistently worked with large primers. This works! My only complaint is the tubes that DA has for the PrimaFil are a little short. They barely hold 100 large pistol and only about 95 large rifle. Not a big deal just be nice if they were 1/2” longer.

At first I thought why? Why should I pay $40 for another set of primer tubes, but when I got them and filled my first tube, I understood why.
These primer tubes are excellent, flawless and well worth any price paid.

High quality and easy to use thank you for the great product

I love all things DAA. I am a fan and have bought many items. All are high quality, well made, well thought out, and most have a nice instructional video by Sol. The latest purchase is the Primafill. First I bought the Rockford Arsenal. Could never get it to work right. It took longer to load 100 primers than the pick and peck method. Then I bought the Hornady. It worked about 60% of the time. Still got stuck primers 40% of the time. Now, I have a reliable primer fill - the Primafill.

Works great. Much faster way to fill primer tubes.

After many frustrating hours, I finally got my Dillon RF100 primer tube filler to work perfectly with CCI SP and SR primers. Not wanting change the settings for LR and not wanting to buy a second RF100 paperweight for LR, I decided to give this machine a try.
It definitely takes some finesse and is not quite as "set it and forget it" as the Dillon (while working). However, this machine does work right out of the box and requires no adjustment. I purchased some 8mm vinyl end caps and used those in place of the plastic pick up tips on the primer tubes. There really is no need for pick up tips when using a primer filler. Also, Dillon primer tubes work perfectly with machine.
Pros for this machine are its ease of use, versatility switching back and forth between large and small primers, and cost effectiveness.
Cons are you still have to flip the primers before using, the lid does not lock down, and this is not a set and forget unit like the Dillon.
Overall, I like this unit very much and will continue to use it exclusively for large primers. I do not shoot the same volume of large primer cartridges as I do small primers. Therefore, the extra time spent is of little consequence.
If I had an extra RF100 dialed in for large primers, I'd probably prefer to use that. However, in terms of saved money and frustration, this little machine is very hard to beat.

Bought this based on years of frustration using a Dillon primer tube filler regarding small primers. This thing works! Small effort needed. No more flipped primers getting loaded

Works great, almost flawlessly.
Double Alpha should make a primer tray that fits the internal dimensions of the DAA Primer Fill so one can invert the Primer Fill Unit into the primer tray and just flip it, problem solved. The current DAA Primer Tray (sold separately) will not fit the inside deminsions of the Primer Fill.
One you get the nack of controlling the unit, left to right and front to back when loading the primers into the primer tube, you can fill the tubes very fast. It's all practice, beats doing it by hand.
I see complaints about the primers flipping in the tray while loading a primer tube, simple fix to that problem. Just press down on the units lid with slight finger pressure and the primers will not flip over. I have noticed that the primers that flip do so while vibrating agains the large primer block piece directly opposit the small primer tube hole that you are filling. Pressing down on the cover of the DAA Primafill solves the problem.
When the primers get stuck while entering the primer tube use your case neck deburring tool to smooth it out. If the deburring wasn't the problem, do not tilt the unit so severely towards the primer tube you are filling hold it more level.

There are a number of things worth noting on the Primafill. First, this thing is robust! It is by no means a flimsy plastic product. It is assembled with Torx fasteners, they could have easily cut corners using pins or snap together construction. The switch is metal and the motor is powerful. The body is soft touch plastic making it easy to hold especially for my dry calloused hands. The magnetic gate for blocking the unused port is a novel idea and further shows the thought and care that went into the design of the product. In addition, it sits flat and stows easily on the bench whether in or out of the box in any orientation. This is a key factor for me, I despise an accessory that consumes excessive storage space.
Functionally it does what it is designed to do and it does it well. I hate the mundane task of filling primer tubes by hand, especially ten at once the Primafill does so in seconds even with the ‘sticky’ WSP & WSR primers.
Overall it is a great value especially when compared to the cheaper Asian made pistol grip products. I have zero regrets with spending a little more for a quality product.
Could it be better? Yes. Here are my recommendations for Primafill V2:
The soft touch surface is nice but it seems like every product I’ve owned over the years with this coating has degraded into a sticky mess. Admittedly most have been Asian made, I hope that doesn’t happen with the Primafill but consider alternatives like maybe molded in stippling similar to to that on Magpul grips. Secondly, it really needs some means of holding the cover on. How about a couple of tiny magnets in the lid? Finally, and this is a big one, do away with the washboard style of ribs and go with concentric circles like conventional primer trays. Maybe you have your reasons for doing it this way but the washboard orientation makes flipping frustrating at times. Maybe you need a combination so that the flow path works correctly, straight on the side where the full ports are and circular over the rest of the surface. Two shakes of my RCBS tray and all my primers are flipped. The Primafill takes several and can be a game a times. And one last gripe, would it break the bank to include a few 8mm tube caps with the product? I bought a bag of 100 from Amazon for less than 10USD. Not a deal breaker by any means but even two caps would have been handy to have to get started.
Finally, this being my first DAA product purchase I can say after using it and seeing what thought went into the design, I wouldn’t have any reservations about purchasing future DAA products.

It works very well with small pistol primers (cci and s&b), it takes only a few seconds to fill a tube. Practical and reliable, I’m very satisfied

This is a great primer tube filler. I did some practice fills with it to figure out how much you need to slant the tray to get the primers to feed in the Channel and down the tube.
The videos are a good place to start. It will feed them fast if you take your time and do not let the primers make a traffic jam. Think of it like a pencil stream of water you want to run in the hole.
All I can say is that it works great once you figure out what angle you need to hold the unit.

I have had the Franklin vibra primes, old and new style, the Dillon and have sevrral pick-up tubes. This is the easiest I have ever used.
Be sure to watch the primers as they enter the tube as rarely they will flip over. I just stop and remove the tube and turn rhe primer over then continue.
