This holster is the best holster I ever bought for my X5; it's close to the body but easy enough for action; and not awkward (not overly extended away from the waist)for carry-holster within the allowed area of the range.

For this rule you must change the screw:

Very nice solid holster and I really like the belt attachment.
Although I like the way it's attached to the belt, I would like it even more if the holster would be mounted straight. Now it's slightly angled to the back and straight seems more natural.

DAA IDPA PDR-PRO Holster

(6)
Manufacturers: Double-Alpha Academy

Description:

The IDPA PRO holster has done away with the suede lining at the request of many loyal customers who did not wish to have the “break-in” period that suede might create in fast draw type holsters.  Even though the suede offers increased protection for the gun, it adds a drag factor when new. The bare Kydex cannot be beaten for speed, quick release and a smooth draw.  The side walls on the PRO have been increased in thickness, and a 3.3mm Kydex plate added to ensure the holster’s integrity and structure will not fail, even in the toughest conditions.

The result is the new DAA IPDA PDR PRO Holster body being a slick, simple, and efficient design incorporating the manual “no tool” thumb turn tension adjustment screw.  With only a few turns of the knob, it can be adjusted in retention to fit any preference or course of fire.

The DAA IPDA PDR PRO comes with the DAA Belt-Ride hanger system, which is IDPA legal and excellent for genral carry purposes.

Additionally, all tension screws anywhere on a holster must require a tool for tension adjustment.
