Excellent product.
Never thought I would be this excited by a belt. The Lynx belt feels rigid, very easy to wear at the same position consistently over and over again and can carry the weight of a full rig nearly without the user noticing it.
Assembly was a piece of cake, and being able to fold...

Oops, DAA did it again!
Even without the nice trick of being able to fold this belt into my range bag, this is just an outstanding belt! More rigid than the previous ones, much easier to put it on in the exact same position, and well... gooood looking too :)

Love this belt a massive leap forward in design and fit. Super stiff, the molded velcro in each link is super aggressive and sticks to the inner belt like glue, yet is still easy to remove when the shooting is done. awesome to be able to change the size of the belt as needed for weight gain or...

Great ingenuity with this idea. Fit is very firm and secure to waste in all spots on the belt. No flaring or gaps in the hips like with the traditional belts.

I strongly recommend getting 2 lynx above what the calculator suggests. With the inner belt you'll need it.

The DAA Lynx belt is a totally new, innovative concept for competition shooting belts. 

It is assembled by the user himself, using individual plastic links, which assemble together by means of strong steel roll-pins. These linked are made of an extremely durable Nylon, reinforced by glass fiber and tougheners.

The Velcro Hooks on the links are formed by an over-mould injection process, making them a permanent feature of each link. They are not glued on Velcro tabs, but injection moulded formed, providing maximum strength and longevity.

Links are available in 9 colors, so each shooter can design his own belt. You can mix and match as you please, adding a dash of color to match your National Flag or your shooting outfit.

Available colors are: Black, Grey, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue Purple and Green

Once assembled, these links create a belt which is totally rigid in the critical vertical axis – keeping loaded magazines and holsters solid and stable, preventing any lifting during the draw motion. While at the same time – the hinged freedom of motion between the links, in the horizontal plane, means that the belt can be rolled up to a much smaller size than a rigid one-piece belt.

This horizontal-plane flexibility allows the belt to be rolled up tightly, and placed easily inside any range bag. It also means the belt follows closely the body’s contour of even the smallest, thinnest shooter without lifting away from the body or creating uncomfortable pressure points. (issues common with one piece rigid belts). The DAA Lynx belt is far more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

The expanding Buckle Assembly of the Lynx Belt allows for about 4.5cm of length adjustability and closes the belt ends together. Since its over-all length is short – it can easily be worn in the front, between the holster and front mag pouch – even when that front pouch is positioned in the center of the body. This prevents the need to close the belt on ones back, as is often done with one piece overlapping belts.

Each DAA Lynx Belt includes:

  • Links in the number and color selected by the customer
  • One DAA Inner belt (size of which is calculated in the builder)
  • A Buckle assembly which includes:
    • A fully assembled buckle
    • A bag with 50 roll pins
    • A punch tool for removing pins
    • A spare silicon O-ring for the buckle

Link dimensions: 33mm long from pin to pin. 38.7mm tall, thickness on the Velcro pad is 8.8mm, 7mm off the pad

Re your comment about adding 2 more links - we assume you did not measure your waist as indicated on site on an inner belt. Our calculations towards the number of links a customer may need already gives you 1 or 2 links spare so if you were short of 2 links - your measurement must have been off. Remember, your pants size is NOT an indication of your waist size.

Assembly was a piece of cake, and being able to fold it and fir in my range bag is fantastic.

I also really love the idea that when I'll finally lose some weight I can easily adjust the size of the belt simply by removing a link or two instead of having a larger part of the belt overlap and having to adjust the placement of my gear.

Awesome product, and only a matter of time before I get another one for my PCC rig.

Oops, DAA did it again!

At first I though that the concept of DIY (Lego like...) will drive me mad, but at the end it turned out to be a super easy (and yes, even kind of fun) process.

Huge improvement over the regular belt, a solid win for me.

I'm always looking to improve, both in knowledge and equipment. Was very interested in the newly released DAA Lynx belt. Bought 2: 1 for HG belt and 1 for PCC belt, have assembled them using DAA's clear video and have started to test them during my IPSC trainings and matches. It's important to measure as per the DAA instructions. The belt is light, strong, fits snug around the waist (less excessive material) and is alot easier to transport. My DAA holster, magnets and pouches fit well on the belt once all screws are tightened. There is still some wiggling sideways, especially on the pouches, I'm trying to work out. But too date I'm pleased with the switch!
