CED Junior Team
CED is proud to be part of the training regime of several top professionals around the world, all of whom chose CED products for their training program. In addition, CED sponsors many young junior competitors today who rely on CED products to help develop their skills and techniques.
Juniors interested in shooting sports are the future for the industry! CED feels that it is very important for us all to support them, encourage them, and nuture their interest in shooting, so that the future of our sport will grow and be protected. We are proud of our juniors and we hope that you will be too! When you see a junior at a match, take a moment to give a word of encouragement, advise, or assistance! It will mean a lot that young shooter and to you too!

The Hardy Boys!
At 18 years of age, Adam Hardy has been competing for over five years now. A "C" Class competitor with USPSA, Adam has participated in the STI / American Handgunner World Shoot-Offs three times, Area 8 USPSA Championships, Tri-State, Mid Atlantic Sectional, and many other Steel matches. A High Honors university student studying chemical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Adam also runs Cross Country, Track & Field, plays basketball, tennis, & swims, Watch for Adam at future matches. If he is not shooting, he is patching targets and painting steel.
At 17 years of age, Matthew Hardy, along with his brother Adam, has been competing for over five years now along with his brother. Already classified Open C, Matthew has participated in the same matches with Adam and a few others along the way. A High Honors student graduating this year, Matt plays Baseball, runs Track & Field, basketball, tennis, & swims. Both boys spent a week at the USPSA Junior camp a few summers back, soaking up as many new techniques as they could from GM's Kay & Jerry Miculck. When you can learn from World Champions like these two, it does not get much better! Watch for Matt & Adam at future matches. Competitive Edge Dynamics is proud to have them both as part of the CED Team!
 B.J. Norris
Congratulations B.J. on your fantastic 2nd place overall finish for the Steel Challenge World Championship this year, being beat only by the National Champion himself Max Michel. What an achievement!
B.J. was also 2nd Junior place finish for the last IPSC World Open Championship To be ranked as the second best Junior in the world at his age is an outstanding accomplishment. CED is proud of his hard work and diligence.
Already A Master Class IPSC competitior when he was 15 yrs of age, B.J. Norris has been featured in several shooting magazines including Front Sight. Not only has B.J. racked up an impressive list of Junior finishes, but he has been in the top 10 places overall in Open division in over a dozen championship matches in the past year alone. Finishing 9th place overall in the UPSPA Open Nationals for 2006 as well as being the USPSA Open Nationals Junior Champion, and finishing 6th overall at the 2006 USPSA Area 6 Championships, B.J. is well on his way to early fame. We are proud to have B.J. as a member of Team CED and wish him continued success in the years ahead.
More recently, B.J. finished in the Rio Salado World Shoot Qualifier, Mesa, AZ, 3rd Overall Open Division, Space City Challenge, Houston, TX, High Overall Open Division for the second year in a row, and in the Targeting Education World Shoot Qualifier, Brighton, MI, 4th Overall Open Division. Congratulations!
At 19 years of age, Bryan Jones has already achieved an Open MASTER class USPSA ranking. Quite an accomplishment for a young competitor, but Bryan does not stop there. A certified RO (Range Officer), Bryan has already worked as CRO on a stage for the Area 8 USPSA Championship match this past year. While maintaining High Honors in school, Bryan found time to compete in three USPSA Area Championships, two Sectionals, and the Summer Blast, all in addition to twice competing in the Race Gun Nationals. In fact, Bryan finished FIRST in A Class at the 2006 Open National Championship! Congratulations for an excellent performance.
Look for Bryan in the future. We are sure this bright young competitor is on his way to being a Junior Grand Master! Bryan a first year student at Yale University, does not let his sports get in the way of his academics. He is a REAL high achiever! We hope he still finds time to shoot between his studies. Chase Buccellato
Chase Buccellato from San Diego, CA, started shooting rifle at the age of 8 years old. In fact, he won his first Sharp Shooter award at that young age. Chase began shooting IPSC when he was twelve and has never looked back! At age 19, Chase has achieved numerous awards / Championships for his shooting abilities. A Master Class USPSA competitor, Chase has won several championships within his class ranking and continues to achieve new levels of accomplishment in the shooting sports. Well on his way to reaching Junior Grand Master, Competitive Edge Dynamics is proud to have Chase as part of the CED team!
 Zachary (Zac) Catella, from Burton, Ohio, USA, is a sixteen year who has been shooting in competition since he was eleven. He had been practicing and learning the basics of safe gun handling for some time before that with his father. Zac started shooting steel competitively at the STI / American Handgunner World shootoff, where previously, he was a “brass rat” volunteer for several years. He currently shoots IPSC/USPSA at local club matches and has shot several major run-and-gun events. Additionally, Zac shoots .223 and .308 match rifles, with an eye towards 3-gun competitions. Zac likes to scuba dive, program computers, and has been a member of his high school’s marching band for years. Competitive Edge Dynamics is proud to have Zac as part of the CED Junior Team!
Jakob Daude
Congratulations Jakob on your recent USPSA B Class ranking for Limited 10. At thirteen years of age, Jakob Daude has already been shooting for several years. Competing in both IDPA & IPSC and Steel matches when possible, Jakob is working his way up the USPSA classification ladder. He has his sights set on being the youngest Grand Master ever and a top professional competitor someday! Look out Max Michel
Jakob successfully completed the Michulek's Junior Camp a few of summers back, learning a lot from the Pro's. With special attention from professionals like the Michulek's & Ted Bonnet, Jakob is well on his way! CED is proud to have Jakob as part of our Junior team.

Chris Saylor
Chris Saylor began his shooting career early in life by attending his first match at 2 months of age, and he has not stopped since then. He started shooting at age three which in turn got him exposure in various shooting magazines. By age 6, Chris was competing in matches. By age 8, Chris had several west coast matches under his belt and he was becoming a serious competitor.
In the past four years, Chris has competed in many Steel and IPSC matches, as well as provided instruction along with his dad in safety courses at their local range. Today, at 13 years of age, Chris competes with his sister, who at 10 years of age is following closely in brother’s foot-steps. Safety is always first on these kids minds.
CED is proud to have both Chris & his sister as part of our CED Junior Team. We know that we will hear many great things about both of them in the years ahead as they grow in the competitive shooting sports. Watch for them in future matches and remember, these kids are the future of our sport!
Deleana Saylor
Deleana Saylor, at 10 years of age and has been involved with firearms both long guns and handguns since she was six years old. She started helping her older brother (see Chris above) to prepare for matches by helping with the reloading process, i.e.,filling primer tubes, cleaning and sorting brass, and
eventually helping at the range. By the time she was seven, she was able to demonstrate to older female students how to overcome their fear of firearms. At nine years of age she demonstrated how to safely handle, fire, clear a jam, reload, complete a course and safely unload a firearm to an audience of 30 Naval Sea Cadets. At 10 years of Age, with only one IPSC match under her belt, Deleana trained diligently with her Dad and older brother and safely and successfully competed in her first Steel
Challenge Championship. Her goal is to win the pre-teen event (Her Brother won it in 2006). CED welcomes Deleana to the CED Junior Team.
 Nelson & Francisco Colon - The dynamic duo
You may think you are seeing double, but in fact, these are two brothers! CED welcomes both Nelson & Francisco to the CED junior Team! Both currently ranked in C-Class Limited with USPSA, Nelson (15 yrs old) and Francisco (13 yrs old) are into their fourth year shooting & competing.
They both figure in the USPSA Top-20 junior list for their class and division, and have cultivated numerous local match wins. Their first major match was the 2005 Area 6 championship and both have come a long way from their initial appearance. In 2006, Nelson placed High Junior Limited in the South Carolina Section Championship and Francisco was High Junior in the 2006 Florida Section Championship. In addition to their love for shooting, they do not lose sight of their academics. These two brothers are excellent students, both on their respective school honor rolls.
Originally from Puerto Rico, these up & coming future stars now reside in sunny Florida. Look for them at local and regional matches as these young competitors are the future of our sport!
