The CED8000RF model includes wireless remote capability that allows the CED8000 timer to be connected (wireless) to a CED BigBoard or CED Time Keeper for displaying results up to 50 yards away from the linked timer. The RF model is an optional upgrade that can be ordered at the original time of purchase or upgraded at a later date.

Any CED8000 timer can be upgraded at any time in the future. The upgrade will cost $29.95 plus Shipping & handling if performed at a later date.

RF FREQUENCY LAWS - IMPORTANT: North American laws governing RF frequency transmissions differ from those in Europe and Africa and as a result of this, the RF frequency allowed for use in these regions is different. All CED7000RF Timers, CED Time Keepers and CED BigBoard Displays sold in North America are sold with 314 MHz frequency chips. Those sold in Europe come with 434 MHz. These two frequencies are NOT compatible and they will not allow proper transmission when mixed.
