Chris Saylor began his shooting career early in life by attending his first match at 2 months of age, and he has not stopped since then. He started shooting at age three which in turn got him exposure in various shooting magazines. By age 6, Chris was competing in matches. By age 8, Chris had several west coast matches under his belt and he was becoming a serious competitor.
In the past several years, Chris has competed in many Steel and IPSC matches, as well as provided instruction along with his dad in safety courses at their local range. Today, at 15 years of age, Chris competes with his sister, who at 12 years of age is following closely in brother’s foot-steps. Safety is always first on these kids minds.
CED is proud to have both Chris & his sister as part of our CED Junior Team. We know that we will hear many great things about both of them in the years ahead as they grow in the competitive shooting sports. Watch for them in future matches and remember, these kids are the future of our sport!
