Juniors interested in shooting sports are the future for the industry! CED feels that it is very important for us all to support them, encourage them, and nuture their interest in shooting, so that the future of our sport will grow and be protected. We are proud of our juniors and we hope that you will be too! When you see a junior at a match, take a moment to give a word of encouragement, advise, or assistance! The Hardy Boys!
At 20 years of age, Adam Hardy has been competing for over nine years now. Adam has participated in the STI / American Handgunner World Shoot-Offs three times, Area 8 USPSA Championships, Tri-State, Mid Atlantic Sectional, and many other Steel matches. A High Honors university student studying chemical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Adam also runs Cross Country, Track & Field, plays basketball, tennis, & swims, Watch for Adam at future matches. If he is not shooting, he is patching targets and painting steel.
At 19 years of age, Matthew Hardy, along with his brother Adam, has been competing for many years now. Matthew has participated in the same matches with Adam and a few others along the way. In his second year studying Aviation / Business at Geneva College, Matt played football, & enjoys baseball, basketball, tennis, & swimming. Both boys spent a week at the USPSA Junior camp a several summers back, soaking up as many new techniques as they could from GM's Kay & Jerry Miculck. When you can learn from World Champions like those two, it does not get much better! Watch for Matt & Adam at future matches.
